Most visitors in Bali need a car and driver. Some use it mostly for a few basic transport needs, and choose scooter for daily driving and eploring.

Driver and guide in Bali
Wayan Tano is one of the best drivers we know. He will give you an enhanced and enriched Bali experience, no matter if you are going to nearby waterfalls and temples or on an expedition across and around the island.
From years of experience with tourists, he knows how to present all of the island to visitors. He has deep and strong knowledge of a wide array of sights and experiences, from sunrise hiking in the mountains to not-so-crowded waterfalls and temple visits with proper clothing and behaviour.
Wayan operates a driving business with Tano Tours in cooperation with his brother Nyoman. They will take you where ever you want to go, and will suggest fun and interesting trips if you´re not so sure what you want to do next.
We have know Wayan Tano for many years, ever since he by coincidence was the driver taking the ARTI owners from the airport to the hotel on their first visit in Bali. We can in any possible way give our warmest recommendations to him as a driver and guide.

Tano Home Villas
A couple of years ago, Wayan and his wife Wulan established Tano Home Villas. A pair of beautiful joglo wooden villas situated in the back of his family´s home compound in Kedewatan village just north of Ubud centre.
The Tano Home Villas offers a comfortable stay in the privacy and comfort any travellers expect, in close proximity with the Tano family´s actual home and everyday life.
Say hello to the family members as you go through the compound to your private corner of it. Listen to the children playing, and be fascinated by the laughing rooster – really! – crowing in the morning.
